Job Description

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist-CCC
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Adept with assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments to identify communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
  • Deliver direct therapy services, supporting students in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting goals and interventions as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support across environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and advocating for student needs
  • Stay current with best practices and industry standards in school-based speech-language pathology
