This opportunity is ideal for those with a strong background in the field, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Supporting and developing students communication skills, youll play a crucial role in helping them succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is required
- Valid Wisconsin Speech Language Pathologist License
- Current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) License
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations
- Support students academic achievement and social communication across settings
