Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis near Orlando, FL. In this dynamic role, you'll empower young learners to find their voices, overcome communication barriers, and reach their full academic and personal potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure in Florida
  • Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly desirable
  • Proficiency with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy sessions based on students IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and adjust intervention strategies as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student growth and participation in the classroom
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings as required, serving as a valued resource on communication development
  • Provide education to staff and families on effective strategies for language support
