Job Description

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in school settings is an advantage, but passionate new graduates are encouraged
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Dedication to supporting diverse student populations with varying speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy services individually and in groups to address expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic concerns
  • Track progress and maintain clear, timely documentation and reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to inform student support plans
  • Engage in regular communication with caregivers to promote generalization of skills beyond the classroom
