What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in school settings is an advantage, but passionate new graduates are encouraged
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Dedication to supporting diverse student populations with varying speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver therapy services individually and in groups to address expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic concerns
- Track progress and maintain clear, timely documentation and reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to inform student support plans
- Engage in regular communication with caregivers to promote generalization of skills beyond the classroom
