Job Description

This opportunity is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide specialized support within K-12 schools in the Orlando, FL area. The position is a contract role for the current school year, starting ASAP through May 27, 2026, with an emphasis on serving multiple schools, including itinerant responsibilities supporting various private campuses. Candidates must hold a valid Florida state license, SLP-CCC certification through ASHA, and a Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.

Location: Orlando, FL (including Oviedo, Sanford, and surrounding areas)
Assignment Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY)
Setting: On-site with potential hybrid options
Student Age Group: K-12

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students across multiple schools, including elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Serve as an itinerant clinician supporting private schools to ensure equitable access to speech services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to promote best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Florida State License to practice as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
  • Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.
  • Previous experience delivering school-based speech therapy across K-12 grade levels is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population in both public and private school settings.
