Serve a diverse group of Pre-K through Eighth Grade students, providing essential services while collaborating within a supportive educational community. Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois SLP-CCC and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience with pediatric populations in school and/or teletherapy settings preferred
- Competence in delivering assessments, direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP development
- Comfortable working within a caseload model
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with appropriate credentials
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K to 8th grade
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in alignment with district and state standards
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to student progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and therapy activities
- Support students both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with a total of 33.75 hours per week, promoting balance for professional and personal commitments.
