Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPR
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience providing culturally responsive services in school settings, preferably with EC-8th grade students
  • Strong ability to collaborate with staff, families, and administrators
  • Commitment to district protocols and union guidelines
  • ISBE credential number must be submitted with your application

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 70 students, shared between two SLPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct therapy, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Adhere to school and district timelines, processes, and union requirements
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with state and district policies
