A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available near South Holland, IL, for the 26/27 school year, serving K-12 students in an onsite school setting. This contract role requires delivering speech therapy services to a diverse caseload within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language assessment and treatment to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with school goals and state standards
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement
- Professional experience working in school settings as an SLP
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy best practices and caseload management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective teamwork
Location and schedule:
- Onsite role located in Orland Park, Illinois, near South Holland
- Full-time commitment of 32.5 hours per week during the school year
