This immediate opening is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Orinda, CA, offering a travel assignment within the school setting. The role requires on-site presence at two school locationsone elementary and one middle schoolwith a caseload currently at 48 students, potentially up to 55. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, ending possibly by the end of February.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP is advantageous
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings highly desirable
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy services to students across two school sites
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and records
