Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
- Background in pediatric therapy and experience with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous employment in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in Pre-K through Grade 12
- Develop IEP goals and document progress, ensuring compliance with federal and state education guidelines
- Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students varying needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students overall educational experience
- Maintain thorough records and participate in meetings as needed
