Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position serving K-12 students in Orinda, CA. This role is onsite and covers two school sitesone elementary and one middle schoolwith a caseload currently at 48 students and the potential to reach up to 55. The professional schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week, with an assignment duration from ASAP through possibly the end of February.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across elementary and middle school levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in meetings regarding student performance and program development as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required.
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
  • Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a fast-paced school environment.
