Job Description

Providing specialized speech-language services within educational settings, this contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite at two school sitesone elementary and one middle schoolin Orinda, CA. The role involves managing a caseload of up to 55 students (currently 48), delivering support and therapy during school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy sessions for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective communication interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
  • Credentials may include SLP - CCC and SLP - CFY
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse student populations

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time contract position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (40 hours per week)
  • Onsite work at two schools within Orinda, CA
  • Position dates from ASAP through possibly the end of February
