Take your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist into a dynamic school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is located on-site at a vibrant campus in the Jacksonville, FL area and provides direct service to a diverse PreK12 student population. Assignments will vary by location, each focusing on delivering impactful speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs.

You'll be working 35 hours a week (7 hours per day), likely at one designated school. Each site may serve different age groups and needs, including specialized center schools.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health SLP license required (CCC only; a separate posting exists for SLP-CFs)
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
• Able to manage an estimated caseload of around 60 students, adapting services as needed
• Must complete fingerprint clearance, with process adjustments for candidates already fingerprinted within the Florida school district system

What Youll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student body
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and engage in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students with a wide range of speech and language needs

This is a contract position beginning August 10, 2026, and extending through May 28, 2027. All therapy will be delivered on-site; teletherapy/remote work options are not available for this role.
