A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Orange City, FL, supporting multiple school locations within the district. This role involves providing therapy services at elementary and middle schools, with an immediate start date and a contract through June 5th, 2026.
Location and Schedule:
- 3 days at Ormond Beach Elementary and 1 day at Pine Trail Elementary (Ormond Beach, FL) during the current school year. Next year, this will transition to a full 5-day schedule.
- 4 days at Silver Sands Middle School (Port Orange, FL).
- Total of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Florida SLP license.
- Candidates with a Bachelors degree who are willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate are considered for this year (note: SLPA license holders are not eligible).
- Open to Certified SLPs who can supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs).
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.
