Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students with speech and language needs, working across 2-3 schools in a dynamic educational community. This position provides the opportunity to utilize your expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, with flexibility and a supportive environment to help you make an impact from day one. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a caseload capped at 67 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active CCC-SLP certification or SLPA licensure required
  • Significant experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
  • Understanding of IEP processes; ability to collaborate on student support plans
  • Comfortable providing in-person and teletherapy services as needed
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to travel between assigned schools as part of an itinerant schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-12 students
  • Complete and contribute to IEP documentation using district-supported systems (training provided)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Participate in team meetings and fulfill administrative requirements
  • Provide or receive appropriate supervision as needed
  • Support students across varying communication needs and educational settings
