Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a diverse student population in a school setting in Oneonta, AL. This position offers engaging work within a learning center environment, focusing on a meaningful caseload of 49 students with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload consisting primarily of elementary students, with some high school students included.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to address students' communication needs within the learning center.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and parent communications.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Alabama SLP licensure is required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, especially with high-need students.
  • Ability to manage a sizable caseload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families.

Position Details:

  • Location: Oneonta, Alabama.
  • Contract Length: Immediate start through May 23, 2026.
  • Schedule: Part-time, 3-4 days per week.
  • Work Setting: Primarily onsite with possible flexibility for hybrid or voice-over clinical options.
