Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt services as needed
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals and IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide direct and consultative services in both individual and small group settings
  • Offer guidance to staff and families regarding speech-language development and intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
