Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred)
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Skilled in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and documenting progress
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational staff
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services both one-on-one and in small groups
- Monitor student progress and adjust approaches to maximize success
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation required by school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide expert input and articulate student progress
- Offer consultation and resources to educators and families to support student achievement
