This contract opportunity is for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Oneonta, AL. The position offers flexibility with options for onsite or remote work, catering to diverse professional preferences and lifestyles.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 50 students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade. The role requires providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs. Effective communication and collaboration with educators and families are essential to enhance students speech development and academic success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License (required for onsite work)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology is preferred
- Prior experience in school-based SLP settings with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule and Work Environment:
- 4 days per week, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Option to work onsite in Oneonta, AL or remotely depending on eligibility and preference
- Contract position with defined hours and caseload expectations
