Job Description

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Experience working with school-age children and a variety of communication needs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students within the school setting
  • Monitor, track, and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines for documentation and reporting
