Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a teamwork-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver effective therapy plans based on individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Support students in achieving their communication goals and academic progress
- Provide support and education to families and staff to reinforce therapy strategies
