Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students in a contract speech-language pathologist role based near Omaha, NE. This exciting position allows you to work onsite with a dedicated team, serving young learners across 1-2 local school sites with a manageable caseload of 40-60 students. With the upcoming school year running from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, youll provide personalized interventions and collaborate closely with educators and families.
What were looking for:
- Active Nebraska SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience within school-aged settings or pediatric populations is helpful
- Solid understanding of speech, language, communication disorders, and appropriate interventions
- Comfortable working onsite and traveling between school locations as needed
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored direct and consultative speech-language services to a K-5 caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families for holistic student support
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and documentation in accordance with school procedures
- Support a positive and inclusive atmosphere within school communities
