Job Description

This position focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language therapy in a school environment, supporting a pediatric caseload that may include Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs will also be considered
  • Direct experience with pediatric populations, including Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches across age groups and developmental stages
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
  • Facilitate both individual and small group therapy sessions within the school setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary planning and goal setting
  • Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies in the classroom
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing resources and education to support ongoing progress
