Job Description
Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists for multiple contract roles in Olympia, WA, supporting K-12 educational settings for the upcoming school year. These positions offer full-time schedules at 37.5 hours per week, serving caseloads averaging around 60 students.
Available Opportunities:
- Four total SLP positions
- Multiple elementary roles (Grades K-6) with consistent weekly hours
- Developmental preschool position (ages 3-5) with potential to include some elementary students based on enrollment
- One secondary level position supporting two buildings (Grades 7-12)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification for licensure eligibility in schools
- Experience working in school-based speech and language services preferred
