Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFYs are welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in providing therapy to pediatric and school-aged children
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to individuals and groups within the school environment
- Participate as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams, attending meetings and sharing progress updates
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and IEP-related paperwork
- Provide resources and strategies to teachers and families to maximize student success
