Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school settings or working with children/adolescents is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech, language, and communication therapy for students with diverse needs
- Create and maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Offer engaging and effective therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized learning plans
- Utilize best practices and evidence-based approaches within a school-based framework
