Make an impact supporting students and collaborate with dedicated educators as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates welcomed
- Previous experience working within school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with IEP goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Offer guidance and training to staff and families on strategies to support communication skills
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district guidelines
