Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or CFY considered
  • Recent experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize student progress
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students, teachers, and families
  • Maintain compliant and timely records, IEP documentation, and progress reports
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based therapy
