Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are welcomed
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Effective communicator able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups, adapting to each students unique needs
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Offer guidance and education to staff and families regarding speech/language development
