Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan is required
- Certified with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings such as early childhood, elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of age groups and learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with communication or speech disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Develop and implement engaging therapy activities that address students unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating supportive, inclusive learning environments
