This full-time, contract opportunity provides a chance to support a dynamic caseload of elementary-aged children and be a valued member of a collaborative educational team.
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 17, 2026, through November 20, 2026
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Work with K-4th grade students to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language needs
What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active SLP license for the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- At least one year of experience working with school-aged children preferred
- No SLP-CFs for this assignment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-4 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve communication goals
- Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP processes
- Consult with educators and parents to support students learning and social development
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages every students growth
