Job Description

This full-time, contract opportunity provides a chance to support a dynamic caseload of elementary-aged children and be a valued member of a collaborative educational team.

Position Details:

  • Contract runs from August 17, 2026, through November 20, 2026
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Work with K-4th grade students to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language needs

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active SLP license for the state of Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • At least one year of experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • No SLP-CFs for this assignment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-4 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve communication goals
  • Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP processes
  • Consult with educators and parents to support students learning and social development
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages every students growth
