Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state license or eligibility to obtain one as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students IEPs.
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students educational goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on communication needs and progress.
  • Maintain all required documentation and records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
