Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with goal-setting, IEP processes, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
• Deliver direct therapy services in individual or group settings per IEP requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
• Incorporate innovative, evidence-based therapy techniques into daily practice
