A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Oceanside, CA, supporting three middle schools. This onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse student populations in a dynamic school environment, focusing on delivering speech-language services to middle school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and educational teams.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes according to school and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology licensure is required.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with middle school students.
- Skills in pediatric speech therapy, including experience with teletherapy, are beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to manage full-time caseload across multiple schools.
