Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a leave contract from October to mid-December in Oceanside, CA, serving a K-12 school district. This position primarily supports middle school students across three schools and requires onsite availability. The role offers a dynamic caseload focusing on pediatric speech and language therapy within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for middle school students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Deliver therapy services aligned with school district guidelines and student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP licensure is required.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Familiarity with caseload management in K-12 settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Background in pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare settings is a plus.
