This full-time assignment covers a maternity leave from October through mid-December, providing essential support across three schools. Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a valid California SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based speech therapy
- Comfortable supporting middle school caseloads
- Open to SLP-CFY candidates looking to gain valuable professional experience
- Demonstrated skill in individual, group, and consultative SLP services
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptable to dynamic educational settings and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to middle school students with diverse needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans based on student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related staff to support student success
- Maintain comprehensive records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between three local schools during the school week
- Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment for all students
