A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a maternity leave coverage from October to mid-December in Oceanside, CA. This contract position involves supporting three middle schools with onsite services, providing valuable support to students during this period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments within the middle school student population.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students onsite, addressing various speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle school caseloads.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language therapy services is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite throughout the contract duration.
