Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based environments
- Comfortable engaging with children and adolescents from Pre-K to Grade 12
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other specialists
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication needs across early childhood and school-aged groups
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
- Provide both direct and consultative speech therapy services in a school environment
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed to support student success
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to foster communication development both in the classroom and at home
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
