Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year to provide specialized services to elementary students. This contract position involves a three-day-per-week schedule working within an elementary school setting in Oakland, CA. The role offers an opportunity to support children's communication development and contribute to their academic success through hands-on therapy and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in a school environment
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress according to educational standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience working with pediatric caseloads in educational or healthcare settings preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy and healthcare-related speech pathology are a plus
