Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in an elementary school setting located in Oakland, CA. This contract role offers a blend of itinerant and paid travel opportunities, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy services to students, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with school staff to support students' individualized education plans (IEPs). The position may offer indirect hours for administrative tasks and includes supervision arrangements depending on licensure and role.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or valid SLPA license
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule that may include travel or a hybrid work model
- Knowledge of IEP systems and participation in training as required
- Ability to provide or receive supervision as appropriate for the role and licensure
