Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within an educational setting in Oakland, CA. This contract position involves working onsite at two school locationsan elementary and a middle schoolsupporting a caseload currently consisting of 48 students, with potential to serve up to 55. The role offers a full-time Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across elementary and middle school levels.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school district guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
