Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year, located in Oak Harbor, WA. This contract position offers a 0.4 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) role, providing specialized speech and language services within a school setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Experience working in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, and teletherapy environments
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students' speech and language needs
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to both in-person and teletherapy formats

Location: Oak Harbor, Washington

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide speech-language therapy services in a school environment, including teletherapy sessions as required
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies
