Make a difference every day by supporting elementary students with your expertise in speech-language pathology! A vibrant K-5 setting is seeking a skilled SLP to provide in-person speech and language services for the remainder of the school year. Help young learners strengthen vital communication skills while collaborating with a passionate educational team.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience working with K-5 students in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and caseload management
- Newly licensed professionals and experienced SLPs welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and small group settings, adjusting approaches to meet diverse learner needs
- Accurately maintain documentation, IEP reports, and progress notes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide compassionate support, advocacy, and education for students and their families
