A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Northville, MI, serving students in an elementary school setting for grades K-5. This opportunity offers the chance to work directly with young learners to support their communication development and address speech and language challenges in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor progress and adapt interventions
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5)
- Strong skills in speech and language assessment and therapy techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
