Make a real impact by supporting students across elementary and high school levels as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours and the chance to help students reach their communication goals while collaborating with passionate educators and professionals. You'll work on-site (no virtual positions available), participating directly with the school community and shaping outcomes for ages K-12.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP licensure is required
- Strong preference for bilingual Spanish speakers
- Experience in school-based speech therapy
- Capable of providing supervision for SLPAs (for one of the positions)
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Must complete or have current TEA fingerprint clearance (allow up to 10 business days)
- Adaptability to serve both elementary and high school students as an itinerant provider
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students (K-12)
- For one SLP: Supervise SLPAs and case manage two campuses
- For the other SLP: Provide direct therapy and case management at one campus
- Complete timely evaluations, progress reports, and maintain student records
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Travel as needed between school sites within your assigned area
