Candidates should bring strong schools-based SLP practice, including CCC credentials and a passion for fostering student success. The position may involve collaborating with other professionals, supporting students across different grade levels, and serving as a resource for team members. While this opportunity is not suited for teletherapy providers, those who enjoy hands-on engagement and advocating for student growth will thrive. Supervising Clinical Fellows is encouraged and supported.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist CCC credential
- Previous experience in school-based settings required
- Adaptability for itinerant work across multiple school sites
- Commitment to best practices in assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Open to mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for making a direct impact within a diverse school community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and write concise, actionable reports
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with regulations
- Support students with a variety of speech and language needs
