Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication development in a collaborative school environment near North Hollywood, CA. This role is perfect for an SLP (with CCC) or experienced SLPA ready to make a meaningful difference as you cover a staff leave from August 2026 through November/December 2026. Work 30 hours, Monday through Friday, primarily at a well-organized campus and enjoy the support of a team of SLPAs as you serve a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with the development and implementation of IEPs and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered therapeutic services

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy, progress tracking, and documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and on-site SLPAs in support of student success
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and strategy sessions as needed
  • Adapt and align therapy techniques to meet the needs of a diverse student group
