Job Description

This contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, perfect for professionals eager to make a difference throughout the academic year. Full-time schedules offer up to 37.5 hours per week, with possible flexibility for part-time arrangements.

Youll collaborate with committed educators at multiple elementary, middle, and high school sites, delivering vital speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population. Your expertise will foster growth and build confidence in students ranging in age and need.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL Department of Health SLP license
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Ready and able to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing requirements, including JLA badge acquisition or transfer if previously held in Florida
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve a dynamic caseload that may vary by assignment and school location
