Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to create individualized therapy plans and adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students unique goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and support teams in developing appropriate classroom strategies
• Educate staff and families about communication disorders and effective interventions
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in speech-language therapy
