Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed (or eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
- Prior experience in school settings or a strong desire to make an impact in K-12 education
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for speech and language concerns across K-12 grades
- Develop creative, individualized therapy plans and document progress accurately
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students success
- Conduct therapy sessions (both individual and group) that align with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all regulations and best practices
