Job Description

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract opportunity offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time engagement, working with diverse caseloads across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies and support student learning
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license
  • Experience working with K-12 caseloads
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varied student needs
