A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract opportunity offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time engagement, working with diverse caseloads across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies and support student learning
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varied student needs
