Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Previous experience providing pediatric speech therapy in a school or educational setting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and carry out treatment plans tailored to each students goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff on student progress
  • Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and monitor outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to support student communication
