Step into an essential role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering communication skills in elementary students. Working with a K-4th grade caseload, you'll provide impactful services that empower children to achieve academic and social success.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Current or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with school-based services, particularly in elementary settings
- Knowledge of pediatric diagnostics, therapy techniques, and best practices
- Teletherapy expertise is a plus
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Clinical documentation and IEP development proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in K-4 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate records
- Provide engaging therapy sessions that address articulation, language, fluency, and voice
- Collaborate with educators and family members to support student progress
- Offer consultative services and professional input for multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize teletherapy platforms when appropriate to maximize service delivery
