Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference for students across several vibrant communities. This rewarding contract role offers engaging work within diverse school settings, helping children and young adults with a range of speech and communication needs.
As a key contributor, youll support an Autistic support classroom and provide speech therapy services to itinerant students both onsite and within the broader community. Opportunities are available in Aston and surrounding areas, with needs in Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, Upper Darby, Broomall, and beyond. Flexible scheduling is available: choose a traditional 5-day workweek or commit to as few as 2 days per week, depending on your availability.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Valid PDE (Pennsylvania Department of Education) Certification
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially in special education or autistic support settings, is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
- Willingness to travel between multiple locations as needed
- Immediate availability to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized therapy plans and implement evidence-based interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with teachers and families
- Support both classroom and itinerant students in a variety of educational settings
