Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering appropriate interventions
  • Compassionate approach to working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educational staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address each childs unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure coordinated student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance with district/state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help advocate for students communication goals
  • Provide consultative services and training to school staff on communication disorders and strategies
